WATSONVILLE, CA— Kicking off the week with a momentum building announcement, today Watsonville Mayor Pro-Tem Karina Cervantez Alejo earned support from the Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 as she campaigns to represent California’s 30th State Assembly District.
Sheet Metal Workers Local 104’s Political Director Rob Stokerreleased the following statement:
“Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 strongly recommend Watsonville Mayor Pro-Tem for State Assembly. Karina is a tenacious, skilled and compassionate leader from a new generation. We need her voice and her expertise fighting for working people in Sacramento. We know Karina will make an outstanding State Assembly member.”

Just last week Mayor Pro-Tem Cervantez Alejo won, in a landslide vote, the endorsement of the South County Democratic Club, a powerhouse local organization comprised of scores of politically mobilized grassroots activists.
